Research internships offer students the excellent opportunity to work with professors and researchers, thus being a part of the ongoing research at German universities and research organisations. For this, you would need to find out what kind of research is going on in your field at various German universities and research organisations. The DAAD supports various internship programs: There is the Carlo-Schmid-Program for internships in international organizations and EU institutions, Scholarships for short, practice-related stays abroad; Lehramt.International, IAESTE and Kulturweit Volunteer Service of the UNESCO Commission.
